The EBC 6th Annual Water and Wastewater Leadership Conference brings together the leadership of the water and wastewater programs from all six New England states for a timely discussion of state priorities, emerging challenges, and implementation strategies.
This virtual conference provides a unique opportunity to hear directly from state water leaders about their priorities for the coming year and how they are addressing critical water and wastewater issues both within their individual states and through regional collaboration.
Topics will include:
- Funding for major water and wastewater infrastructure projects: How are changes in funding sources and financing programs affecting large-scale state and local projects?
- Climate resilience and infrastructure delivery: How are states balancing the need to incorporate climate-resilient solutions with cost, timing, and successful execution of major infrastructure projects?
- Leadership priorities and resource constraints: What challenges are keeping state water leaders up at night? Where are they directing their time and resources, and where are resource limitations preventing them from addressing emerging needs?
The conference will conclude with an interactive panel discussion, giving attendees an opportunity to engage directly with state leaders and explore the issues and priorities that will shape New England’s water and wastewater landscape in the year ahead.
General Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (3.0 training contact hours). Certificates are automatically provided via email link for registered attendees at the conclusion of the webinar.
