Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are Core Values at EBC and Fundamental to our Mission

The Environmental Business Council of New England, Inc. is committed to actively increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization, including the EBC Board of Directors, EBC Committee and Chapter Leadership Teams, and program chairs and speakers. EBC welcomes ideas and perspectives that stem from participation and collaboration among groups with different backgrounds, which will lead to stronger and more creative results.

Thus, EBC encourages each Committee and Chapter, when developing Leadership Teams, and every program chair, when selecting speakers and discussion topics, to emphasize and celebrate diversity in their decision-making. EBC also encourages member companies to strengthen their EBC participation with diversity and inclusion in mind and to consider diversity and inclusion when recruiting and developing professionals.

EBC defines diversity as differences in age, color, ethnicity, family or marital status, gender, gender identity or expression, language, national origin, physical and mental ability, political affiliation, race, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, veteran status, and other characteristics that make us unique.
