Andover, MA – Woodard & Curran has named Jeff Stearns Director of Technical Practices for Water Infrastructure, effective June 1, 2021. Stearns was the firm’s Operations Leader for its Municipal Strategic Business Unit (SBU). The Director of Technical Practices is responsible for overseeing the Municipal Wastewater, Drinking Water, and Recycled Water Practices, building the technical teams and coordinating between the Practices and Business Development to ensure the firm is meeting clients’ needs.
Stearns joined Woodard & Curran in 2006 and held a variety of roles with progressively more responsibility, beginning as a Project Engineer and growing into his most recent role as Operations Leader starting in 2018.
Woodard & Curran Municipal SBU Leader Tom Hazlett explained, “Jeff has proven his ability to think strategically about where the industry is heading and our place in it, which is critical as we develop our next strategic plan. He has demonstrated the leadership skills and business acumen to create and strengthen the connections between our technical practices, operations, people, and markets.”
