The University of Rhode Island graduates nearly 3000 students every year, many with degrees in study areas such as environmental science, hydrogeology, watershed hydrology, biology, as well as civil, chemical, and environmental engineering. URI’s interdisciplinary programs allow students to gain competency in subjects outside of their area of study. Laboratory and field components are a large part of many curriculums, providing students with exposure to hands on “hard”, industry-based skills, such as field sampling methods, laboratory analytical techniques, and project design and development. A career fair will be held at the University of Rhode Island’s College of Environmental and Life Sciences (CELS) on December 12, 2017. Undergraduate and Graduate students from both the College of Environmental and Life Sciences as well as the College of Civil and Environmental engineering will be in attendance.
This would be a great chance for companies in the Environmental Business Council to access some of the regions aspiring consultants, engineers, and scientists. You can choose to engage in some or all of the day’s events. The cost of the career fair is $100.00. Cost of Fair includes registration for two representatives and lunch.
