Tom Keough has joined VHB’s team in Watertown as Senior Environmental Scientist. Keough will build upon VHB’s strong track record of successfully guiding clients through the permitting process, and enhance the firm’s ability to help clients move projects forward.
Keough brings extensive permitting experience throughout New England and nationwide. He has managed numerous complex development and natural resource restoration projects throughout the ecological and environmental studies involving wildlife, wetlands, stream, lake and watershed topics. Keough has also provided design, permitting, and construction oversight for numerous wetland restoration and mitigation projects.

His technical expertise as a wetland scientist and his ability to manage and permit complex projects make him a valuable addition to the VHB team.” says the Director of Natural Sciences Services in Massachusetts, Marc Bergeron.
Prior to joing VHB, Keough served as a senior environmental scientist at a large consulting firm, managing multidisciplinary projects from initial due diligence through construction. He has worked for the City of Gloucester as DPW Operations Manager and Environmental Planner; and is a former Marine with active duty experience during the Persian Gulf War. Keough earned hi B.S. in Environmental Science, with a minor in Geology, at Salem State University.
