Rattigan to counsel, effective January 1, 2021.

Steven Boyajian, a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy + Reorganizations Group, focuses his practice on bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, and litigation involving real estate and business disputes. He frequently represents financial institutions, private lenders, purchasers of distressed assets, landlords, title insurers, suppliers, and professional service providers. Mr. Boyajian is resident in Robinson+Cole’s Providence office.
J. Tyler Butts represents the insurance industry in complex first-party property insurance coverage litigation throughout the country, with a focus on litigation concerning allegations of bad faith and other extra-contractual claims. He is part of Robinson+Cole’s Litigation Section and a member of the firm’s Insurance + Reinsurance Group. Mr. Butts is resident in the firm’s Hartford office.
Ryan Leichsenring, a member of Robinson+Cole’s Tax Group, represents taxpayers in a broad range of domestic tax matters. Mr. Leichsenring advises businesses and individuals in connection with multistate tax planning, controversies, and collection defense. He also counsels a variety of exempt organizations with respect to structure and formation, joint ventures, application for recognition of exemption, information reporting, and unrelated business taxable income strategy and planning. Mr. Leichsenring is resident in the firm’s Hartford office.
Krista Patterson is an experienced real estate attorney with a broad practice including market-rate and affordable housing financings, acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures and leasing. She has extensive experience handling multi-million dollar transactions on behalf of a range of clients, such as financial institutions, investors, developers, operators, landlords and tenants. Ms. Patterson is a member of the Robinson+Cole’s Real Estate + Development Group and is resident in the firm’s New York City office.
Jonathan Schaefer, a member of Robinson+Cole’s Environmental, Energy + Telecommunications Group, focuses his practice on environmental compliance counseling, permitting, site remediation, occupational health and safety, energy regulatory compliance and siting, and litigation related to federal and state regulatory programs. His experiences enable him to work effectively with experts and legal counsel to help clients minimize risk and solve compliance, enforcement, transactional, and regulatory matters. Mr. Schaefer is resident in the firm’s Hartford office and practices in Massachusetts and Vermont.
Emilee Mooney Scott is a member of Robinson+Cole’s Environmental, Energy + Telecommunications Group, with experience in facility compliance and transactional matters. Her experience includes a long-term placement in the legal department of a client, a multinational manufacturer, where she worked closely with the in-house and outside environmental and transactional counsel as well as corporate and facility environmental personnel. Ms. Scott is resident in the firm’s Hartford office.
Jonathan Small represents insurance companies nationally in complex insurance coverage disputes. His experience includes litigation involving commercial property and liability policies, allegations of bad faith, unfair claim settlement practices, and other extra-contractual claims, as well as class actions and appeals. Mr. Small is a member of Robinson+Cole’s Litigation Section and Insurance + Reinsurance Group. He is resident in the firm’s Hartford office.
Anthony J. Vogel is a member of Robinson+Cole’s Real Estate + Development Group where he focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, including the representation of clients in commercial leasing and financing transactions and the acquisition and disposition of commercial real property. Mr. Vogel is resident in the firm’s Stamford and New York City offices.
Abby Warren is a member of Robinson+Cole’s Labor, Employment, Benefits + Immigration Group, where she represents employers in labor and employment matters. She focuses her practice on counseling private sector employers, including multinational corporations, health care organizations, educational institutions, and manufacturers, in all areas of employment law. Ms. Warren also defends employers in federal and state court and before administrative agencies. In addition to counseling and litigation, she provides workplace training for clients and conducts workplace investigations. Ms. Warren is resident in the firm’s Hartford office.
Brian Calabrese concentrates his practice on energy-related regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters where he provides guidance on utility ratemaking, energy regulation, energy transactions, renewable energy, and regulatory compliance. Mr. Calabrese is a member of the firm’s Environmental, Energy + Telecommunications Group and is resident in the firm’s Hartford office.
Katherine Fix is a member of Robinson+Cole’s litigation department with the Bankruptcy + Reorganizations and Business Litigation Groups. She concentrates her practice on bankruptcy and corporate restructuring matters, which encompasses representations of companies and creditors in Chapter 11 reorganizations, including special situations that require both transactional and litigation proficiency. Ms. Fix is resident in the firm’s Philadelphia office.
Kathryn Rattigan is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation Group and Data Privacy + Cybersecurity Team. She advises clients on data privacy and security, cybersecurity, and compliance with related state and federal laws. Ms. Rattigan also provides legal advice regarding the use of unmanned aerial systems (UAS, or drones) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. She is resident in Robinson+Cole’s Providence office.
