RIDEM’s FY2024-FY2026 Strategic Plan

The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (RIDEM) is pleased to announce its FY2024-FY2026 Strategic Plan for the fiscal year 2024 to 2026. The plan lists eight strategic plans:

  1. Take action to counter climate change and its effects, both locally and regionally
  2. Prioritize diversity, inclusion, and environmental justice in all programs
  3. Protect and restore our environment to create greener, healthier communities
  4. Protect and improve water quality
  5. Conserve, promote, and steward our natural resources
  6. Expand and promote local agricultural and seafood industries
  7. Promote and sustain outdoor recreation in Rhode Island
  8. Demonstrate statewide leadership in organizational excellence and customer service
