RIDEM’s FY2024-FY2026 Strategic Plan

The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (RIDEM) is pleased to announce its FY2024-FY2026 Strategic Plan for the fiscal year 2024 to 2026. The plan lists eight strategic plans:
- Take action to counter climate change and its effects, both locally and regionally
- Prioritize diversity, inclusion, and environmental justice in all programs
- Protect and restore our environment to create greener, healthier communities
- Protect and improve water quality
- Conserve, promote, and steward our natural resources
- Expand and promote local agricultural and seafood industries
- Promote and sustain outdoor recreation in Rhode Island
- Demonstrate statewide leadership in organizational excellence and customer service
