Register for the RISEP Webinar on April 13th: Using Colloidal Activated Carbon For Accelerated Groundwater Treatment Of Chlorinated Solvents and PFAS

Join the Rhode Island Society of Environmental Professionals virtual webinar In Situ Groundwater Remediation with Colloidal Activated Carbon starting April 13

The presentation will describe the efficacy of a colloidal in situ remediation agent that consists of highly sorptive activated carbon particles stabilized to transport widely through an aquifer upon injection. Some advantages of this approach include a rapid drop in groundwater concentrations, along with the ability to stop plume migration and protect sensitive property boundaries or environmental receptors.  The presentation will also review data from field sites where colloidal activated carbon has been utilized to remediate PFAS contamination.
