MassCEC’s invitation to celebrate the release of the 2014 Massachusetts Clean Energy Industry Report
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I’d like to invite you to join Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, Energy and Environmental Affairs Secretary Maeve Bartlett and me for a celebration to mark the release of the 2014 Massachusetts Clean Energy Industry Report. The report includes a summary of industry job growth by types of clean energy jobs and region and includes an analysis of the Commonwealth’s clean energy business climate.
Under the leadership of Governor Patrick, the clean energy sector in Massachusetts has boomed. Progressive and ambitious energy policies have helped to increase renewable energy adoption several times over, accelerate the development of new technologies and drive continued clean energy job growth – 24 percent over the past two years. As a result, Massachusetts continues to be nationally recognized as a leader in clean energy policy, adoption, investments and jobs.
We’re looking forward to celebrating the results of this annual industry report with our friends and partners who have worked together with us to grow this industry. We’re thrilled to mark the occasion with students from Boston Green Academy who will inherit the environmental, cost and employment benefits of this bustling sector.
I hope you will join us.
Best regards,
Alicia
