Geosyntec Consultants has hired Jim Brinkman, P.E. in their Acton office to lead their practice related to the management of sediments. He brings almost 20 years of related experience to the firm and has extensive domestic and international experience on large, complex remediation projects. His professional focus is on remedial planning, feasibility/treatability studies, design, and remedy execution for major sediment dredging, dewatering, stabilization, material handling, and water treatment projects. He possesses a thorough knowledge of all phases of design/construction including management, development of project strategies, bench-to-full scale evaluations, conceptual/detailed design, estimating, schedule, project plans, and procurement. Jim earned both his M.S. and B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri, and he is a P.E. in Massachusetts and New Jersey.
