Epsilon is Proud to Announce Their Newest Principals

As a privately-owned firm since its inception over 23 years ago, the vision at Epsilon Associates has always been to invite the most skilled, productive, and energetic of our senior people to become Principals.  We are very pleased to announce that Richard Lampeter, Geoffrey Starsiak and Marc Bergeron are the newest Principals at Epsilon Associates.  Rich, Geoff, and Marc will continue the ownership transition, and help to lead and guide the firm well into the future.

With more than 15 years of experience conducting community sound level impact assessments, Rich is highly regarded in the acoustic field. His experience includes the measurement of ambient sound levels, modeling sound levels for complex facilities, and compliance sound level measurements. Rich’s understanding of acoustical standards and modeling software allows him to provide accurate and reliable modeling results to developers and communities. Rich has presented his findings before a wide range of audiences including state energy siting boards and some not-so-friendly local gatherings.

Geoff is a talented project manager with more than 15 years of experience managing environmental regulatory documentation for real estate projects in Boston and throughout Massachusetts.  Geoff manages the environmental review process pursuant to Article 80 of the Boston Zoning Code and Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act, and has successfully led the permitting for more than 20 million square feet of development in the Boston area.  His knowledge and experience with the ever-changing regulatory processes allow him to provide insight and guidance through these complex processes.

Geoff enjoys the variety of projects that he is able to help lead to construction, from small affordable housing projects to large master planned developments. “Each neighborhood and site has its own challenges that make every project unique and interesting.”Geoff Starsiak

Marc Bergeron, PWS, CWS

Marc is an accomplished wetland scientist and regulatory specialist with more than 25 years of consulting experience supporting private and public development as well as transportation-related and energy projects.  He has a diverse background in environmental studies; specializing in wetland delineation and assessment, ecological inventories, and vernal pool investigations. He is particularly knowledgeable in the siting and licensing of energy facilities such as natural gas pipelines, overhead and underground electric transmission lines, and renewable/traditional power generation facilities.

With respect to working in the energy sector, he says “it gives me great satisfaction to be a contributing member of project teams that are able to successfully permit projects which result in the safe and reliable delivery of energy. I am also proud to be working on renewable energy projects and to be a part of our country’s transition to clean energy.”  – Marc Bergeron
