Spring 2022 Internship
The Environmental Business Council of New England is seeking an Intern to assist with day-to-day administrative and clerical tasks. Undergraduate students, especially second and third year students, are encouraged to apply. Interns are expected to commit 10-12 hours per week for the academic semester. $15.00 hourly wage. Intern responsibilities primarily entail office and administrative work, including data entry, database maintenance, and website maintenance. They may also be responsible for various business or nonprofit management projects, and gain valuable exposure to the environmental industry through offsite EBC programs, as well as to nonprofit operations in general. Interns can also participate in EBC programs and events, where appropriate.
The job description is broad and applicants should be prepared to handle multiple tasks at once. The individual should be proactive, outgoing, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Applicants should be familiar with Microsoft Office. Applicants should have excellent communication skills.
- Current enrollment in a higher education degree program – 2- or 4-year college or university
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to operate online databases
- Exceptional organizational skills, careful attention to detail
- Ability to function independently
