Louis's Bio:

John McAllister is the Principal of McAllister Marine Engineering, LLC, an engineering consultancy firm specializing in coastal infrastructure resiliency and supporting the offshore wind industry in the US. John is a Civil/Environmental Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the study, design, and construction oversight of engineering projects for both the public and private sector. He is a veteran Project Manager with extensive experience in large waterfront and marine development projects, including dredging and marine infrastructure development. His waterways work consists of management of high-profile construction projects as well as port infrastructure development and assessments, resiliency designs and navigational and improvement dredging projects. In addition to the Waterways work, Mr. McAllister has significant experience in resilient site development and stormwater management designs and analysis. His offshore wind experience includes being a Project Manager for the development of the New Bedford Marine Commerce Terminal, the first in the nation facility purposely built for offshore wind, being the principal engineer for the development of the South Quay Marine Terminal in East Providence, RI and having contributed to the development of several Offshore Wind strategic plans/studies, including in Massachusetts, Virginia, Rhode Island and as one of the principal authors of the Offshore Wind Strategic Action Plan developed for the Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce.
