Robinson+Cole Elects New Partner and Counsel

Firm elevates five lawyers in Hartford and New York

HARTFORD, CT (January 10, 2019) – Robinson+Cole is pleased to announce the election of Taylor A. Shea as partner and the promotion of Nathaniel T. Arden, Jonathan H. Schaefer, Cara C. Vecchione, and Anna Jinhua Wang to counsel, effective January 1, 2020.

Congratulations to Jonathan H. Schaefer, EBC Site Remediation and Redevelopment Committee Leadership Team Member, elevated to Counsel

Jonathan H. Schaefer – Mr. Schaefer, a member of the firm’s Environmental, Energy + Telecommunications Group, focuses his practice on environmental compliance counseling, permitting, site remediation, occupational health and safety, energy regulatory compliance and siting, and litigation related to federal and state regulatory programs. His experiences enable him to work effectively with experts and legal counsel to help clients minimize risk and solve compliance, enforcement, transactional, and regulatory matters. Mr. Schaefer is resident in Robinson+Cole’s Hartford office.

New Partner

Taylor A. Shea – Ms. Shea represents privately and publicly held companies in all aspects of corporate and transactional law, including commercial finance transactions, private equity and venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate and commercial matters. She is a member of the firm’s Business Transactions Group and its Manufacturing Industry Team. Ms. Shea is resident in the firm’s Hartford office.

New Counsel

Nathaniel T. Arden – Mr. Arden advises hospitals, health systems, physician groups, community providers, and other health care entities on a variety of health law and business issues. His practice focuses on health care-related regulatory and transactional matters, as well as health care-related information technology issues. Mr. Arden has an extensive background in the healthcare industry, and he worked at a large academic medical center prior to joining the firm. He is a member of the firm’s Health Law Group and is resident in the firm’s Hartford office.

Cara C. Vecchione – Ms. Vecchione focuses her practice on complex insurance coverage litigation and counseling. She represents domestic and international insurers in a broad range of insurance coverage disputes. Ms. Vecchione has extensive experience in coverage matters involving commercial general liability, professional liability, Bermuda form excess liability, technology errors and omissions, and directors and officers policies. She is a member of Robinson+Cole’s Insurance + Reinsurance Group and is resident in the firm’s New York office.

Anna Jinhua Wang – Ms. Wang, a member of the firm’s Business Transactions Group, assists clients with capital markets and securities law, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. She has a decade of experience helping public and private companies in capital market and securities-related matters. She represents clients across a range of industries and advises them on capital formation, capital structure, securities offerings, and equity and asset sales and purchases. She is resident in the firm’s New York office.
