EBC Energy Resources Committee Announces New Vice Chair: Dan Belin of VHB, Inc.

The EBC is pleased to announce that Dan Belin, Energy Market Lead at VHB, Inc. is the new Vice Chair of the EBC Energy Resources Committee. Please join EBC in welcoming Dan to this position.

Dan joins the current Committee Chair of the Energy Resources Committee, Marc Bergeron of Epsilon Associates, Inc. The members of the EBC Energy Resources Committee’s Leadership team will meet routinely with the committee chair and vice chair to identify topics for future EBC programs.  As part of their responsibility, members of the leadership team will also take on the role of program chair to organize and moderate EBC programs for this committee.

Dan’s Bio:

Dan has over 25 years of experience in environmental impact assessment and natural resource consultation. His experience includes permitting and siting for energy infrastructure projects at the local, state, and federal levels. His environmental impact assessment experience for energy infrastructure facilities includes evaluations for transmission and distribution lines, natural gas and oil pipelines, wind farms, solar facilities, battery storage projects, liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals, hydroelectric dam relicensing, and deepwater port permitting. He has conducted field studies, GIS data analyses, and report writing to analyze energy projects with all associated resources and regulatory requirements. He has also navigated the full suite of state and local regulations and permitting processes, including providing expert witness testimony.
