It gives us great pleasure to announce that effective January 1, 2019, Cristina Mendoza, Solutions Design Lead at Capaccio Environmental Engineering, Inc., will become the Chair of the EBC Ascending Professionals Committee. Also at that time, Jessica Yeager, Senior Engineer at Geosyntec Consultants, will become the committee Vice Chair.

Cristina Mendoza's Bio
Cristina brings five years of experience working as Senior Environmental Scientist and Sustainability Consultant. Most recently, she assumed the role of Solutions Design Lead at Capaccio Environmental Engineering. Complimenting her work as a strategic sustainability consultant, Cristina now leads the Solutions Design Team at Capaccio to develop holistic, value driven solutions to EHS and sustainability challenges. Cristina also has expertise in Greenhouse Gas Reporting and Management Systems development and implementation.
Cristina holds a B.A. in Environmental Science and an MBA, both from Clark University. She serves as an expert advisor for the Associated Industries of Massachusetts Sustainability Roundtable and was awarded the 2017 Environmental Business Council of New England’s Ascending Leader Award for her exceptional leadership and industry involvement in the early stages of her career.

Jessica Yeager, PE (MA), LSP is a senior remediation engineer at Geosyntec Consultants with over nine years of experience developing remedial designs for brownfields sites. She has her S.B. from Harvard in Environmental Engineering and her M.Eng. in Environmental Engineering from MIT. She has designed many different remedial systems for Fortune 100 companies. Lately, her focus has been on providing innovative remedial solutions for brownfields redevelopments in metro Boston, including vapor intrusion evaluation and mitigation.
