Bioengineering Group Honored as the Fastest Growing Company of 2009 at the Sixth Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business
Salem, MA – November 30, 2009 – Bioengineering Group, a woman-owned science and engineering consulting and design firm, was honored as the Fastest Growing Company of 2009 at the sixth annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business. The Massachusetts-based company was recognized for doubling its staff size and sales in 2008–achieving a 100% increase in revenue and scaling up from 34 to 72 employees. Bioengineering Group founder and CEO, Wendi Goldsmith, accepted the award during award ceremonies held recently in New York City.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, and the companies they run – worldwide. This year’s winners were selected from over 1,110 nominations across 54 categories.
