ACRP Publishes Synthesis 100, Airport Greenhouse Gas Reduction Efforts

The Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP), a division of the Transportation Research Board which implements research funded by the Federal Aviation Administration, has published Synthesis 100, Airport Greenhouse Gas Reduction Efforts.

The report is authored by Stephen Barrett of Barrett Energy Resources Group (BERG) and the research is overseen by an expert panel composed of staff from the FAA, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, San Diego International Airport, United Airlines, and the Rocky Mountain Institute.

The report includes the results of a survey completed by nearly 100 airports on greenhouse gas reduction efforts and 17 profiles of projects completed at airports in the US. A digital copy of the report can be accessed at http://www.trb.org/main/blurbs/179808.aspx.
