This EBC TSCA & PCB Working Group webinar will provide an overview of regulatory requirements for classifying soils and building materials that may contain PCBs, including how to determine whether materials qualify as PCB remediation waste, PCB bulk product waste, or excluded PCB products. Presenters will explain how tools such as the Conceptual Site Model, building age, renovation history, and available data help guide accurate classification and compliance decisions. The webinar will also cover material management, transportation considerations, facility options, and conclude with an extended Q&A discussion with industry experts.
Attendees will learn strategies for improving cost transparency, setting realistic expectations, and strengthening trust throughout the design and funding process, helping mitigate the impacts of escalating project costs and maintain confidence among all stakeholders.
General Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (2.0 training contact hours). Certificates are automatically provided via email link for registered attendees at the conclusion of the webinar.
