Employer Registration

Connect with future environmental and engineering professionals at the Environmental, Energy, and Engineering Career Fair, which attracts hundreds of students and recent alumni from a range of environmental and engineering fields and disciplines seeking paid internships and full-time employment. Whether you are recruiting interns or hiring right now, come share your organization’s professional opportunities.

Employer registration includes a six-foot skirted table, access to wifi and electricity, and registration for two company representatives. Dinner and refreshments will be provided for employer representatives.

Sponsorship opportunities provide employers with access to student and job seeker contact information and resumes, the option to highlight open positions with the company, and receive premier table placement.

What past employer attendees have to say:

“The turnout was excellent for a rainy weekday evening. The participants were enthusiastic and engaging.”

“It was a nicely arranged event (not chaotic) and I got to meet a number of extremely talented students, whose attendance and representation of women and minorities was great to see.”

“Participating in a more industry-specific career fair was helpful – we were able to meet several students with a suitable background for our openings, so it felt like it was a good use of our time.”

Tips for career fair success

Do your research

  • Review the employer’s website before the career fair to prepare targeted questions for each employer in advance.

Introduce yourself

  • Work on your brief elevator pitch to tell employers what skills, education, and experience you have. Be specific about how these skills relate to the organization or position that you are pursuing. Don’t talk to the employer you’re most interested in first. Give yourself the chance to practice – and work through any nerves – your pitch with a handful of other organizations first. You also never know what you will learn and the connections you might make!

Leave employers with something

  • Bring printed copies of an updated resume that includes your contact information to share with employers.

Follow up

  • Ask for a business card or contact information and be certain to follow-up with employers after the fair to thank them for their time and remind them of your interest.
  • All attendees must submit the required health questionnaire while registering for this event.
  • Attendees are encouraged to take an at-home test prior to attending any EBC in-person program.
  • While encouraged, masking is not required.
  • Please do not attend this program if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: a cough, shortness of breath, trouble breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, loss of taste, or loss of smell.
  • Please do not attend this event if you are testing positive for COVID-19, or have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
