EBC Young Environmental Professionals Program: Sustainable Solutions to Water Quality Problems In the Charles River and Boston Harbor

This EBC program provides a basic introduction to water quality issues in the Charles River and Boston Harbor. The panel of experts will provide a broad overview of issues concerning the major water bodies surrounding the City of Boston. The panel will discuss the threats to water quality in the Charles River and the Boston Harbor, the regulations put in place to protect these water resources, and some innovative solutions to reduce the sources of pollution and to improve water quality. The panel discussion will include time for questions and discussion from the audience.
The YEP Committee identifies issues of interest and concern to young (and new) environmental professionals. Issues include but are not limited to career and professional skills development, understanding existing and developing legislation and regulations, and networking.
