This EBC Solid Waste Management Webinar will explore the impacts that PFAS is having on the implementation of the Solid Waste Hierarchy. Representatives from processing and disposal facilities will discuss the challenges they face with the continued identification of PFAS containing materials and the Maine Department of Agriculture and Maine Department of Environmental Protection will discuss the work they are undertaking to investigate the prevalence of PFAS within the environment.

A robust panel discussion with the audience will conclude the webinar.
