EBC Solid Waste Management Program: Briefing from the MassDEP Regional Solid Waste Section Chiefs and Division Director

This EBC Solid Waste Management Program will again provide a unique opportunity this year for attendees to hear first from Greg Cooper, Division Director at the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection’s Bureau of Air & Waste, and then from each of the four regional MassDEP Solid Waste Section Chiefs.

In addition to talking about the more critical solid waste issues in each region, discussion topics with the DEP Solid Waste Management Section Chiefs will include but not be limited to updates on:

  • Permitting
  • Capacity
  • Special projects
  • Rail Haul
  • PFAS
  • Post Closure & Post Closure Ues
  • Enforcement
  • Monitoring
  • Compliance
  • Frequent Violations

There will be ample time for open discussion and Q & A with attendees.
