This EBC program will focus on recent vapor intrusion (VI) developments. Gerard Martin (MassDEP) will provide an update on the VI guidance revisions and other regulatory considerations in Massachusetts.  Rich Rago (Haley & Aldrich) will present his recent work on indoor air background concentrations in non-residential buildings.  The presentation by Dave Shea (Sanborn Head & Associates) will focus on passive samplers, fast-track VI assessment using portable instrumentation, and controlled pressure testing of structures.  We will also discuss short-term exposure limits associated with trichloroethylene (TCE).
