EBC Site Remediation and Redevelopment Program: Remediation of Sites by In-Situ Stabilization and Ex-Situ Sediment Stabilization
This EBC Site Remediation and Redevelopment program will first provide an overview of in-situ stabilization techniques for remediation of contaminated sites. Examples of in-situ stabilization agents and processes will be presented in two case studies, one at a former Manufacturing Gas Plant (MGP) site. In addition, ex-situ stabilization of contaminated sediments/dredged material with beneficial use application will be presented, again in a case study. A panel discussion will follow the three presentations.
This program is pending review for accreditation of 2.0 credit hours through the LSP Board. EBC will notify you if program has been approved.
Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (2.5 training contact hours). Please select this option during registration if you wish to receive a certificate.
