EBC Site Remediation and Redevelopment Program: Effective Project Planning for the Brownfields Tax Credit

May 29, 2019 @ 7:30 am – 10:00 am
McLane Middleton
300 Tradecenter
7th Floor, Woburn

Since 1998, the Brownfields Credit has played a significant role in the successful redevelopment of former commercial and industrial properties throughout Massachusetts. In 2017 alone, credits totaling more than $15 million were issued for 23 projects. This EBC Site Remediation and Redevelopment Program will focus on effective project strategy and planning for use of the Brownfields Credit. In addition, the program will provide an overview of the Brownfields Credit (including eligibility requirements), and examine business and technical considerations for both applicants and their environmental consultants, including factors that have the potential to limit the credit.
