Thank you to our Sponsor:

This EBC program on Emerging Contaminants of Concern will provide an update on the status of Per- and Poly-fluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) in relation to site characterization, treatment and regulations in Massachusetts. The program will include a brief overview of PFAS characteristics, sources of PFAS, release mechanisms and environmental fate. Presentations will include updates on the latest analytical methods, treatment options, and site investigation case studies. The program will also include a presentation from a MassDEP regulator about the regulatory status and site characterization expectations when PFAS are among the contaminants of concern. Legal implications of potential PFAS presence at existing and closed sites will be also discussed. A panel discussion will follow the presentations to discuss the opportunities that are available to identify, quantify, and provide treatment for Contaminants of Emerging Concern focused on PFAS.

Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (3.5 training contact hours). Please select this option during registration if you wish to receive a certificate.
