EBC Seminar on BIOMASS
October 28, 2005 @ 8:30 am - 1:00 pm
Details: Plan to attend this seminar and learn about the practical, regulatory and technical aspects of diverting wood waste from landfill disposal for use as a renewable fuel in power plants. The topics presented will range from the means and methods of removing wood from the waste stream at processing facilities and the permitting requirements for wood waste burning power plants to the types of burners and emissions controls required to satisfy both the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) air quality regulations as well as the Massachusetts Division of Energy Resources (DOER) requirements for Renewable Energy Certificates. This seminar will include one of the first presentations on the subject after DEP issues final revisions to its solid waste management regulations and will provide the status of Biomass Notice of Inquiry and Rulemaking by the DOER.
This networking event will also provide an opportunity for companies to showcase their services or equipment with a table-top display.
To participate, you have three options:
- Register to attend to listen to the keynote and company presentations or provide additional staffing if your company is showcasing.
- Register to showcase your company with a tabletop display (this registration includes one staff person).
- Sponsor this event at the Platinum, Gold or Silver levels.
