EBC Seminar: Nanotechnology: Applications and Implications for the Environment

October 31, 2006 @ 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

With ever-increasing reports on the emerging field of nanotechnology in the news, it is time to learn more about the development of nanomaterials and their potential commercial and environmental applications. Come to this seminar and learn about the science and toxicology of nanomaterials and the current positions of federal agencies regarding these engineered, yet very small new materials. Learn from expert speakers in this half-day seminar about their potential commercial and environmental applications for water treatment and remediation. Understand the current health and environmental concerns about nanomaterials as well as their societal, ethical, and legal implications.
