Speaker: Ted Gehrig, P.E., President, Weavers CoveMr. Gehrig will discuss a brief history of the Weaver’s Cove on-shore terminal project in Fall River and its regulatory process, and provide an update on current status, issues and future direction.
9:15 a.m. Northeast Gateway Project, Southeast of Gloucester, MA
Speaker: Rob Bryngelson, Vice President Development and Downstream Services
Excelerate Energy, LLCMr. Bryngelson will present an overview of this Deepwater Port off-shore project 13 miles southeast of Gloucester, MA, its regulatory process, issues, status and direction.

Deepwater Ports Standards DivisionLCDR Dostie will describe the Coast Guard’s role in the Federal license application approval process for Deep Water (off-shore) projects, and public outreach/education.
11:20 a.m. Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act – MEPA Process
Speaker: Barry P. Fogel, Esq. Partner, Keegan Werlin, LLP
Mr. Fogel will provide an overview of the MEPA role in the siting and licensing of LNG projects in Massachusetts.
12:15 p.m. Lunch – Quincy Room – Lower LobbyKeynote Speaker: Sue Tierney, Ph.D., Managing Principal, Analysis GroupDr. Tierney will provide a unique perspective on the role of LNG as part of a national energy strategy, and the challenges of siting projects, both on-shore and off-shore; and offer comments on the responsible siting of these projects in the context of regional energy needs.
