This EBC Wind Energy Program will feature an update from Vineyard Wind’s Vice President of Permitting Affairs, Rachel Pachter. Vineyard Wind is well underway in developing the nation’s first utility-scale offshore wind energy project over 15 miles off the coast of Massachusetts. The project will generate clean, renewable, cost-competitive energy for over 400,000 homes and businesses, while reducing carbon emissions by over 1.6 million tons per year. This Program will also include representatives from the environmental community and the local supply chain as they discuss the challenges to, and urgent need for, America’s first utility-scale offshore wind farm.

There will be adequate time for Q & A from the audience.

General Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (2.0 training contact hours).  Please select this option during registration if you wish to receive a certificate.
