EBC Rhode Island Program: The State of Stormwater in Rhode Island – Water Quality, Stormwater Permits & Sea Level Rise
Thank you to our Sponsor:
The state of RI waters, climate change and sea level rise, coastal resilience, forth coming MS4 regulations and the draft MSGP permit – these are all issues that currently face Rhode Islanders that are connected to stormwater. This EBC Rhode Island Chapter program will provide attendees with an update on the status of stormwater in RI including: the state of stormwater in New England from the U.S. EPA Region 1, the RI Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) compliance initiatives and Industrial Multi Sector General Permit (MSGP) from the State of RI perspective, and sea level rise impacts from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Weather Service representative.
This EBC Rhode Island program will provide the opportunity to hear from the original permit writers and regulatory officials on the proposed new requirements and from scientists on anticipated impacts and changes to stormwater in RI that should be considered when evaluating your stormwater management needs.
Presentations are posted to the Presentations section of the EBC website.
General Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (2.0 training contact hours). Please select this option during registration if you wish to receive a certificate.
