Integral to the state’s history, culture and identity, and essential to economic health, Rhode Island’s 400 miles of coastline face the existential threat of climate change through both short-term extreme weather events and long-term sea level rise. This EBC Rhode Island program provides updates on the planning, design, and implementation of short and long-term solutions to these challenges. We will explore approaches for developed and natural coastlines; provide policy progress updates regarding Resilient Rhody; discuss potential funding sources, and provide case studies of several projects.

A robust panel discussion, with ample opportunity for questions from the audience, will follow the presentations.

Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (3.5 training contact hours). Please select this option during registration if you wish to receive a certificate.
