EBC Rhode Island Chapter Program: New Frontiers in Storm Water Management in Rhode Island

When:
October 10, 2013 @ 7:30 am – 12:00 pm
Categories:

This EBC Rhode Island Chapter program will explore recent developments and trends in storm water management. Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (RIDEM) staff will review the “new” Rhode Island storm water regulations, review implementation issues, discuss enforcement, and detail the integration process into the new RIPDES permits. Coastal Resources Management Council (CRMC) staff will articulate how the storm water regulations are being incorporated into their programs. Also on hand will be representatives from Diprete Engineering and GZA GeoEnvironmental to provide perspectives from a developer’s point of view and how EPA’s efforts to apply Residual Designation Authority (RDA) could potentially require additional RIPDES permitting and subsequently additional costs to comply with the Clean Water Act.

Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (3.5 training contact hours). Please select this option during registration if you wish to receive a certificate.
