EBC Renewable Energy Program: Wind Turbine Noise and Health Impacts – Report of the Massachusetts Expert Panel

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) in collaboration with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) convened a panel of independent experts to identify any documented or potential health impact risks that may be associated with exposure to wind turbines, and, specifically, to facilitate discussion of wind turbines and public health based on scientific findings. The Report of the Independent Expert Panel was released in January 2012. This EBC Program will include a presentation on the report by Alicia Barton McDevitt, Mass DEP Deputy Commissioner, followed by a panel discussion.

Parking: There is no parking in the CDM Smith parking garage. On street parking is available in the area but is restricted to two hours. Area parking garages include: Standard Parking at 800 Technology Square, Cambridge (5 minute walk to CDM Smith) and Pilgrim Parking at 301 Binney Street, Cambridge (10 minute walk to CDM Smith) as well as others.
