EBC Reception: Focus on the Regional Economy and the Green/Climate Change Economy – Looking Ahead in Challenging Times
May 8, 2008 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
In these precarious economic times, with the recurring reference to recession, it’s important to have an understanding of New England’s economic condition. Bo Zhao, Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, will look into his crystal ball and share his vision on how we will be impacted by the rapidly change economic conditions.
And to better manage your business, it’s also important to have an understanding of the impact of election year politics and hot buttons for environmental companies and emerging energy sectors. Andrew Paterson will analyze budgets for 2008, how election results may impact agencies, projects and policy and make a bold prediction on the 2008 outcome and likely impacts on energy policy, climate change and the environmental industry.
