This EBC Ocean and Coastal Resources webinar will discuss how drones are being used to assist engineers, land managers and scientists with providing high definition geospatial products in support of baseline existing conditions.

Jon Budreski of ARE-AirShark will discuss and present an in-depth look at a recent project that required three sensors to collect high resolution geospatial products in support of a salt marsh restoration. UAS based LiDAR, RGB (orthophotography), and NDVI (multi-spectral) imaging will be discussed. This webinar will provide an in depth look at project planning, including FAA and land-owner coordination (adjacent to active airport), survey support, operations, and data delivery.   Additionally, information with regard to flight over people and night operations will be shared as related to similar operations on a related project. There will be ample time for discussion.  There will be three additional presenters sharing insignts on related coastal solutions that utilized drones in New England.
