EBC NH Chapter Stimulus Forum: Funding Opportunities for Environment, Energy and Transportation Projects
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (signed into law February 17, 2009) appropriates an unprecedented level of federal funding aimed at preserving and creating jobs, investing in transportation, environmental protection and other infrastructure, spurring technological advances, and stabilizing state and local government budgets. The statute requires that spending and activity commence as quickly as possible in an effort to jump-start economic recovery.

This EBC Forum will focus on how the state of New Hampshire receives, allocates and spends the federal stimulus funds. This program will also address the Second Round of stimulus funding. Special emphases will be placed on the following activities most relevant to EBC members:
Energy – Renewable energy, efficiency, clean tech, smart grid
Environment – Brownfields remediation, SRF wastewater & water treatment
Transportation – Roads, bridges, railways etc.
