EBC New Nuclear Power and Climate Change: Issues and Opportunities

With the growing focus on global climate change, nuclear energy is being presented as having perhaps one of the lowest impacts on the environment of any energy source. This EBC/AWMA neutral forum for institutional, regulatory and private sector representatives and professionals will discuss the possible role of New Nuclear Power in addressing growing energy demands with this carbon-free technology. How does nuclear power benefit climate change? What significant issues face new nuclear power plant development? Economics, siting, safety, waste, proliferation, public acceptance?
This in-depth full-day seminar will include presentations by distinguished professionals in the following areas:
