EBC New Hampshire Emerging Contaminants Program: Identifying and Addressing Risks from PCBs in Building Materials
100 Market Street
5th Floor, Portsmouth
NH
PCBs are one of only a few contaminants regulated both by the EPA (through TSCA) as well as by individual states (MassDEP and others). As the TSCA regulations are fairly rigid and prescriptive, the investigation and remediation of PCBs can be extremely challenging. PCB investigation has the potential to affect a wide range of interests, from real estate owners and tenants to lenders, contractors, and insurers.
This EBC New Hampshire Emerging Contaminants program will provide an opportunity to learn more about indoor air sampling methods and associated risk assessment. The performance of encapsulants will also be presented.
General Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (3.5 training contact hours). Please select this option during registration if you wish to receive a certificate.
Presentations are posted to the Presentations section of the EBC website.
