EBC Information Technology Committee Meeting

Tom Skinner will be going over new items in eDEP (DEP’s eGov initiative). Kellie Ingram will be doing a tour of the new MA DEP website and upcoming features. This is a great opportunity to give direct feedback to DEP and also a chance to make suggestions for new functionality and features.

eDEP, the Department of Environmental Protection on-line application, which quietly debuted in December 2003 with two on-line forms, lets businesses, municipalities, citizens and other government organizations:

1. Apply for high volume permits
2. Submit certifications
3. File environmental compliance reports
4. Pay fees on-line

DEP intends to implement additional forms each month, targeting the high volume permits, certifications, and environmental compliance reports that are submitted to the agency.
