EBC Evening Program: MEPA Director – Maeve Vallely Bartlett
January 16, 2013 @ 6:30 pm - October 24, 2021 @ 2:16 am
Through the MEPA Office, the Massachusetts Secretary of the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs conducts environmental impact reviews of certain projects requiring state agency action as required by the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA). On behalf of EEA Secretary Sullivan, the MEPA Office conducts reviews of the environmental impacts of development projects and other activities that require one or more State Agency Actions and that exceed MEPA review thresholds, as specified in the MEPA regulations. State Agency Actions include the granting of state permits or licenses, providing state financial assistance, or transferring state-owned land.
For this EBC program, MEPA Director Maeve Vallely Bartlett will address issues that include new policy regulation announcements, continued implementation of the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Policy and Protocol, updates on practice under the public benefit review regulations, updates on significant MEPA decisions and projects in litigation, and more.
Plan to attend this EBC evening program and learn firsthand about Director Bartlett’s programs, priorities and implementation strategies for the MEPA Office.
