This EBC Emerging Contaminants webinar focusing on potentially problematic PFAS impacts in solid waste will discuss the affects PFAS is currently having or soon may have on the regional solid waste industry.
Speaker topics will include active mitigation measures to address PFAS in their waste streams, the impacts of PFAS in solid waste leachate, leachate management and the trickle-down effect of including PFAS in solid waste acceptance and permitted testing requirements. The seminar will also include discussions of consultant-based case studies surrounding the regional and country-wide effects of PFAS in solid waste and the economic implications on development. Topics will also include existing and anticipated PFAS regulation in the solid waste industry.
