Dam removal in the northeast has progressed significantly over the past few years due to the growing awareness that many of the thousands of dams in the area are in unsafe condition and have no current purpose. Changes in permitting, sediment management, and water controls have made dam removal more viable than ever.
This EBC Dam Management Program will explore current techniques and challenges to overcome for a successful dam removal project.
A robust question and answer panel discussion between presenters and attendees will take place following the presentations.
Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (3.5 training contact hours). Please select this option during registration if you wish to receive a certificate.
