This EBC Dam Management Committee program will focus on discussions from the contractor’s perspective during dam repair work. The program will include conversations on how open dialogues and collaborative communications greatly improve the probability of success on dam-related projects. Owner, Engineer, and Contractor cooperation is critical when on-the-fly changes and decisions need to be made. Many of these projects have complex water control components, sensitive subgrades, and the real possibility of dam scour or breach. Experience matters.
Following the presentations, a question and answer discussion between presenters and attendees will take place.
General Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (3.5 training contact hours). Please select this option during registration if you wish to receive a certificate.
