Virtual Meeting

This EBC Connecticut TSCA Webinar will discuss how proposed changes to the remediation standards and how they are applied to PCBs in Connecticut could change how PCB sites are remediated.  These proposed changes could significantly increase the volumes of soil that require excavation and disposed from remediation sites.  With transportation and disposal costs being a significant portion of PCB site remediation costs, there could be significant increases in total costs for site remediation.  Understanding how the regulations are applied to PCB wastes and how these may affect site remediation and disposal options is key to controlling costs. Identifying and implementing alternative methods for transportation of wastes and alternative disposal facilities are additional methods to realize cost savings.

A robust discussion with the audience will conclude this webinar.

Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (2.5 training contact hours). Please send an email to EBC staff ([email protected]) following the conclusion of the program to receive a certificate.
