Virtual Meeting
This EBC Climate Change webinar will focus on FEMA’s new Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) program, which replaces FEMA’s Pre-Disaster Mitigation (PDM) program and is an important source of funding for building community resilience. You will receive an overview of the BRIC program and the current Notice of Funding Opportunity (https://www.fema.gov/grants/mitigation/fy2020-nofo) directly from FEMA Region I’s Hazard Mitigation Assistance Branch. You will also be introduced to FEMA’s Mitigation Action Portfolio, which serves as a helpful resource for the types of projects FEMA is looking to fund through BRIC, and hear from the Massachusetts State Hazard Mitigation Officer about additional resources.
Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (2.5 training contact hours). Please send an email to EBC staff ([email protected]) following the conclusion of the program to receive a certificate.
