This EBC Climate Change program will give an overview on the Massachusetts 2050 Decarbonization Roadmap. Developed by the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA), the Massachusetts 2050 Decarbonization Roadmap was published in December 2020 as a guideline to achieve long-term emission reduction goals within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The Roadmap outlines cost-effective and equitable strategies to ensure the Commonwealth of Massachusetts achieves net-zero emissions by 2050 and reduces greenhouse gas emissions by at least 85% by 2050.

This program will also highlight sector specific decarbonization strategies in transportation, buildings, and non-energy industries. A robust panel discussion with the audience will conclude the webinar.
