EBC is excited to present this series of webinars featuring projects and organizations leading the way in climate change adaptation and mitigation in New England. Featuring the nominated projects for the EBE Annual EBEE Awards, this series will present the forward-thinking and innovative projects being planned and implemented throughout New England.

This first luncheon webinar will feature the Resilient Mystic Collaborative (RMC), a voluntary partnership among neighboring communities in Greater Boston’s Mystic River Watershed working to protect their people and places from climate-intensified risks. Founded in September 2018 by 10 municipalities, the RMC came out of a sense of urgency and commitment among senior municipal staff to work across political boundaries to address challenges that were beyond their control. It has since grown to 18 municipalities and has raised over $1.7 million in funding to pursue regional climate resilience projects.

Join us for this EBC webinar to hear from RMC members on how the collaborative formed, who is involved, and it has been able to achieve since its launch.
