EBC Career Fair

The Environmental Business Council (EBC) is organizing an Environmental Career Fair to provide environmental and energy companies, businesses, government agencies and non-profits with the opportunity to highlight their job openings to qualified candidates from colleges and universities throughout the region.
The 2006 Environmental Business Council invites students from colleges and universities in New England to an Environmental Career Fair on Friday, February 10, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency Boston. The Fair is the best opportunity to learn about environmental professions, and features EBC member companies, including regional leaders in environmental and energy engineering, environmental consulting and environmental law and policy, as well as government agencies and non-profits.
- Learn about environmental jobs at leading environmental business and government agencies in New England.
- Talk to representatives from companies and agencies who actively hire college graduates.
- Interview with environmental professionals in an informational setting.
- Meet recent graduates from schools like yours and find out about their experiences in environmental professions
- Gain an edge on your career search by developing relationships with professionals in the fields that interest you.
Participating students can both visit information booths for leading environmental business and participate in small-group information interviews with representatives from participating companies.
Students have three opportunities to interact with employers during the Fair
Informational Interviews: Each organization will conduct scheduled 25-minute informational interview sessions throughout the day. Remember to bring your resume!
Information Booths: Some organizations prefer to meet with students in a more traditional job fair format, where students come by their table and talk with them informally.
Employer/Student Reception: A great way to cap off of a terrific day! Get better acquainted with employers and other students during a reception from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Hyatt Regency Boston Ballroom.
Interview Sign-up Procedures
- Students can sign-up for up to two interviews prior to the event.
- Review organizational information below to determine the organizations that you want to target for interviews.
- On the day of the fair, students who were not on the first interview schedule can sign up for open slots with individual companies during the fair.
Registration for the EBC Environmental Career Fair is free to all current university students.
